Frank R. Conwell
Middle School

Frank R. Conwell School is a three-story, 117,939 square foot building built in 2006. Spaces include classrooms, offices, library, gymnasium, locker rooms, auditorium, cafeteria, kitchen, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, restrooms, storage rooms, and electrical and mechanical space.
Lighting is provided mainly by linear fluorescent T8 fixtures and compact fluorescent lamps (CFL). The facility has three hot water boilers and two air-cooled chillers that provide heating and cooling to spaces. There are seven air handling units (AHU), each serving a different area in the building. The building has two natural gas generators to provide emergency backup electricity. There is one passenger elevator in the building.
