Lincoln
High School
Abraham Lincoln High School is a 4-story, 272,932 square foot building built in 1920 with two additions built later, the annex and the Freshman Academy. Spaces include classrooms and offices, as well as a library, gymnasiums, locker rooms, an auditorium, a natatorium, a cafeteria, kitchens, lounges, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, storage rooms, and electrical and mechanical space.
Lighting is provided mainly by linear fluorescent T8 fixtures. The facility has two steam boilers and two air-cooled chillers that provide heating and cooling to spaces. There are eight rooftop units (RTUs) and five air handling units (AHUs), each serving a different area in the facility. The building has two generators to provide emergency backup electricity. There is one passenger elevator in the building.
